A talk by Magda Czajkowska Wojtek was an orphaned Syrian Brown Bear, adopted by Polish soldiers during World War II. He enlisted in the Polish Army and was later promoted to Corporal. Magda tells how he served in the 22nd Artillery Supply Company of the Polish 2nd Corps at Monte Cassino. The talk will be followed by refreshments and Polish cakes Free off-street parking available.
