DESCRIPTION:A talk by Magda Czajkowska \nWojtek was an orphaned Syrian Brown Bear\, adopted by\nPolish soldiers during World War II. He enlisted in the\nPolish Army and was later promoted to Corporal.\nMagda tells how he served in the 22nd Artillery Supply Company\nof the Polish 2nd Corps at Monte Cassino. \nThe talk will be followed by refreshments and Polish cakes\nFree off-street parking available.
